The 21st Century Lemonade Stand

I love my neighborhood. Currently, there are three girls, all about eight or nine years old, selling lemonade and homemade brownies at the corner. But this lemonade stand isn't a purely profit-driven pursuit. These girls are donating every dime they make to Nothing But Nets, an organization that provides mosquito nets to families in Africa, where Malaria is the single biggest killer of children.

So, need an afternoon activity? Make some lemonade, set up your stand and donate!

LOVE IT!!! Of course - my heart is in Africa anyway so this touched me.

Yes, what's cooler than an 8 year old philanthropist? I only wish I'd had my camera along to take a photo.
