This I Believe

Some of us grew up struggling. Some of us are experiencing financial hardship now, for the first time. Today, All Things Considered on NPR aired an essay by a senior at Immaculate Heart High School in L.A., for the This I Believe series. This young woman's voice and the thought of her mother's struggle, kept me in my car though I was already in my driveway. Listening to her brought tears to my eyes.
